On your Mac
Nodusly is local-first. Clipboard history, workspaces, settings, and shelf items stay on your device. We do not run analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry in the app.
License activation
When you activate a license, the app sends a single HTTPS request containing:
- Your license key
- A random device ID stored in your Mac Keychain
- A generic or user-chosen device label
- The app version and build number
We never receive clipboard contents, window titles, files, or other personal data from your Mac.
Website & payments
Your Nodusly account stores your username, verified email, connected sign-in providers, sessions, licenses, and device activation metadata. Passwords are stored only as one-way Argon2id hashes. Google and Apple process quick sign-in. If payments are enabled later, Stripe will process payment details.
Your controls
You can export your account metadata, revoke browser sessions and Macs, or delete your account from the account portal. Account deletion removes profile data and tombstones used entitlements so activation codes cannot be reused.
